Woman
Be the woman I sense you can be.
Be what you are,
Strive always for the best you can be
But never boast of being what you are not.
Let the beauty beneath shine forth,
Let it blind the eyes of the most unworthy,
Let it be a light unto your feet,
Let it melt the icy throng of insecurity
That clutters your soul so still;
Remember,
You are that your are,
Never more to be what you are not
Yet never ceasing to be that you can be;
What is seen may not be what is,
What is felt may be the seed of what can become, reality
Water the potentiality of your womanhood,
Feed the roots of your personality,
Prune thyself of feeble attempts at being what you ought;
Pray,
I beg,
That your existence is more than merely existing;
And when your reality impregnates
And gives birth to a true dream,
Care for it;
As a mirrored image;
That it might be more than just another dream
Nor just a truer reality of what you can be
But, are.
BY ALL MEANS, WOMAN.

Thank you Sam 🙂 This is really beautiful. I am going through a very tough time and this helps a lot. Thank you for writing this and putting it out there. At times, when one is feeling really bad, any small positive light can help a lot. Thanks for your visit and your poetry

Forgive the time it has taken to respond to a soul hoping that time will heal heart felt pain. Well, it won’t! You just move on. One day you will realize that every Love is a true Love but not necessarily the right LOVE.
I read all that you laid bare for us to know. I have learned that when we touch, however we touch, we become most touchable. It takes a special person to hang on that cross. Few can take the words as from a fiction writer for we know truth for we are it although we lie and say we are not. So stay, Kindred Spirit, Between the Lines if there you fell most safe but know that the stronger person survives to tell the story from a personal place and only those words will touch another that is hiding between the lines.

Anytime you have some time to look at these, please do.
I like how well you have written about things here. About the linking to my blog was since you mentioned that you wrote a post reading my post- so thought perhaps we could connect.. 🙂
Since you mentioned about it on a more “serious” level linking, maybe you could read some and see if these can be.
Once again, thank you for stopping by and sharing these..
Hugs xx
