Philippians 2: ⁹Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, ¹⁰that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and under the earth,  ¹¹and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ¹²Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed (Says Paul), not only in my   presence, but now much more in my absence; continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling-

DOING WHAT WORK?-

John 6:  ²⁸Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”  ²⁹Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

As John was a lamp (John 5:35), likewise are we (1Cor 6:19). Jesus Christ Our Lord is The Light (John 1:4-6; 8:12; 9:5), therefore the Light that shines from within us is Christ Our Lord. We were told in (Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Ephesians 2: ¹⁰For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Colossians 3: 23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, ²⁴since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Be filled with the Spirit and let your light shine.
