Spring Again
(I submitted this in January of 2011, but it’s spring again.)
How much longer live I placid dreams,
Of Love and mirth filled memories;
Until its spring again.
Memories of days gone by, reflections of a love that died,
To be no more.
Hidden seed beneath the snow, I often wonder;
Will it grow?
One day I will know, if it will grow,
When its spring again.
When clouds of loneliness have fled
And nights gives way to brighter days,
Love will live again,
Love will grow again.
When hidden seeds bloom outside my door
And wounds then healed hurt no more,
When its spring again.
Now its spring again.
No longer live I placid dreams of love and mirth filled memories,
Fore its spring again.
Hidden seed beneath the snow now blossoms bright outside my door,
Today I know for love does grow;
Clouds of loneliness have fled and night have given way to brighter days
Love does live again,
Love does grow again;
Fore hidden seeds bloom outside my door
And wounds now healed hurt no more,
Yes its spring again.
Now its spring again.
No longer live I placid dreams of love and mirth filled memories,
Fore its spring again.
Hidden seed beneath the snow now blossoms bright outside my door,
Today I know for love does grow;
Clouds of loneliness have fled and night have given way to brighter days
Love does live again,
Love does grow again;
Fore hidden seeds bloom outside my door
And wounds now healed hurt no more,
Now that it’s
SPRING AGAIN.

Nice idea to link the seed and love, and their regrowth. And very well communicated to us!
