I AM RAIN
I seem to fall from heaven
As if to rise no more;
But I do.
Thunder announces my falling,
Lightning lights my way;
My coming is forever,
My going plus a day.
I bring life to the dormant;
I carry away decay
And most folk tend to get angry
If I dare for another day to stay.
Stop me if you can,
Control me if you dare
But never get overconfident
My way out is always there.
I’m omnipotent,
I’m omnipresent;
I’m a sower and a reaper;
I’m a grower and a destroyer.
I am rain,
One drop or two;
Hundreds or thousands
Multiplied by two’s,
One thing is sure,
I outnumber you.
