Sleepwalk

As you walk along the lovers’ lanes of life

Stop a moment;

Look way up in the midnight sky,

And ponder on a star.

 

Observe the stars of the ages,

Keeping watch o’er our world by night;

Every twinkle a newborn thought,

Every flutter an end.

 

Proudly they stand,

Shining through the darkness of night,

Providing us their ageless light.

 

Again, I urge you,

As you walk afar;

Pause for a moment,

Take the time to –
