I WARN YE!

Vain man of this modern-day morn,

Know ye not the danger ye spawn?

Venturing forth into realms never dare ye understand?

Awaken not the cat!

Standing at the threshold of concepts unread;

Down corridors deemed sacred

By puffed knowledge ye are lead.

Never realizing, as your quest you seek to obtain

Lightning has flashed, thunder has rolled;

Across untold ages to dash against that door!

Awaken not the cat!

Vain man of this modern day morn,

Those that take that which cannot be taken;

Those that rain upon our cloudless days.

Toying with a destiny ordained before the foundation of the world.

Those that dare to touch the forbidden Flame;

It will chill their mortal souls!

I warn ye pious, ignorant, unlearn-able man –

 

AWAKEN NOT THE CAT!
